Front And Center Rock was started in September 2007 by Meghan Kearney. We are dedicated to reporting, discussing, reviewing and discovering events and bands in the music community. Our passion for music drives us to uncover fresh new bands, along with providing updates on major events, shows, albums and festivals on our website.
If you are a music artist interested in being a part of FACRock, please e-mail us and let us know!
We Are:
Meghan Kearney
Position: Administrator/Editor in Chief
Favorite Artists: I can say that I love ALL music, and honestly mean it. (Except System of a Down). But I live and breathe: Brand New, Jimmy Eat World, and Say Anything.
Favorite Album: "Taking Back Sunday - Tell All Your Friends," with "Jimmy Eat World - Futures" in a close second.
Most Memorable Show: This is a really tough one, but I’m going to go with 97x Next Big Thing 3, in Clearwater, FL. December 7, 2003. I went to this day-long show with a group of my best friends. The weather was beautiful. I was in the pit for Switchfoot, Yellowcard, Less Than Jake, The Ataris, Hoobastank, and my absolute favorite band at the time, Something Corporate. At the end of the night it got dark and the temperature dropped to about 50 degrees. The group and I huddled up on the top of a hill at the back of the park and watched A.F.I, Fuel, and Dashboard Confessional from afar. It was incredible.
